Like the Lake itself, Our Madness Tradition has stood the test of time. And just as the Lake looks different today than when the
tradition began 55-plus years ago, Madness Week and its followers have changed as well.
Happily, over the years, many new members have joined the fun while sadly, we’ve said goodbye to many others, including our
founders who surely are proud to see their beloved annual tradition survive. We have discovered nicer accommodations, bigger
boats, cleaner pools and space-age coolers while preserving what’s most important: the love, laughter, singing, reminiscing, and the
opportunity to create new memories with and for one another and for generations still to come.
